DG RPF Manoj Yadav Announces 10% Reservation for Ex-Agniveers in RPF Recruitment

New Delhi - Director General of the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Manoj Yadav, has announced a new recruitment policy that reserves ten percent of positions for Ex-Agniveers. This initiative includes significant relaxations in age criteria and exempts Ex-Agniveers from the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

"For any recruitment in RPF, there will be a reservation of ten percent for Ex-Agniveers," stated DG Manoj Yadav. He further detailed that the first batch of Ex-Agniveers will receive a five-year age relaxation, while subsequent batches will benefit from a three-year relaxation.

In addition to age relaxations, Ex-Agniveers will not be required to undergo the Physical Efficiency Test, making the recruitment process more accessible for these candidates.

"We welcome Ex-Agniveers in RPF as it will further enhance the capabilities of the force," said DG Yadav, emphasizing the mutual benefits of this policy. The recruitment of Ex-Agniveers is expected to strengthen the RPF by integrating experienced and disciplined personnel, thereby enhancing the overall effectiveness of the force.
